Scam! Jumbocloseouts
I too was scammed by jumbo closeouts. I navigated to the site via ESPN.com, the advertisement offered 300 free bids; what was not revealed was a$150 charge would automatically be debited from my credit card. I challenged the company and got no where; they gave me the run around. I called their office and was drected to email them. I emailed two or three times, prgressively being more direct until finally i got a response that informed me that I agreed to their "terms and conditions" and that I was not elidgible for a refund. Jumbocloseouts' still has my money and I got nothing in return. This is one of the greatest "apparently legal" scams in Internet commerce. Stay away from these types of websites unless!

Jumbocloseouts.com is the definition of fraud
This company misleads you and do not clearly state their terms just to trick you out of your hard earned money. I have filed a complaint with the FTC and I will also file complaints with the California Attorney General as well as the BBB of Los Angeles. That's just the start of it. I will also do a social media beat down on Jumbocloseouts! They need a physical beat down too! They are lucky I live in Houston and not LA. This type of internet trickery is disgusting. Don't feel bad folks, these type of people will get what they deserve. We will get our money back. I have faith in my country and it will right this wrong.

Jumbocloseouts.com should be giving refunds !
I'm just like everyone else who got ripped off for $150-, they are stealing money and not going to jail? My $5- face cream cost me $155-. I tried to get a refund and called many times and many people and they would not do anything to help me. There was no disclosure of the money being charged to my account. This is pure criminal and they need to pay! I called them and asked to have this cancelled and get a refund to my account. (I gave my credit card information thinking they would debit the card when I won a bid) They told me "Sorry, NO REFUNDS!" So I called my credit card company-they said since the disclaimers on jumbocloseouts.com home page clearly states "no refunds" and that you will be charged $150 for 300 bids, there was nothing they could do. The bank did not want to hear anything about a phantom page link, end of story.

Free trial was not free they charged me $150.00
After complaining about the charge to my credit card they would not refund my money. I waited to see if there was something I could bid on and the garbage they displayed was not worth anything. They continue to post the same item over and over and the selection is multiple of this same items. I had send an email to their customer service asking if they were going to add a different variety and I did not receive an answer. Now the site is no longer available and I had $150.00 in this account. I just found this complaint site while trying to locate jumboclosouts again

Jumbocloseouts.com stole money !!
This company should be shut down, i have printed copies of your terms and condition before and after i complained about you stealing money from my account. the terms and web site were changed after i complained. his has been passed on to my bank, the state attorney generals office and the federal computer crimes division. I will also be posting this information to every news and media site i can find as well as ever social networking site. i will be sending the e-mail to you as many times *** possible until i am contacted and refunded the full amount. I was reading a news article about your company, and thought i would give it a try, i read the terms and conditions, and proceeded through the registration process. entered my info and clicked continue...that next thing i new i was charged $150.00. I never clicked anything that said "order bids, purchase bids" no where in the terms and conditions does it say that there is an automatic charge for registering. there was no "confirm you order " message. nothing at all...i see after that fact that on the opposite side of the page there is a window that says all this with "full bidding access" no where does it say this is what you are purchasing by registering. I would lie a full refund..this has left me with $14.00 in my checking account until this is straitened out. I am not very happy

I was scammed by jumbocloseouts.com too. It's sickening.
I was scammed by jumbocloseouts.com too. It's such a sickening feeling to be violated like this. I too thought it was legitimate since I came to the website through a link from Fox News. They even streamed a little video on their homepage from the news people touting the idea of these penny auctions. So I thought I would give it a try since they were offering 300 "free bids" and I thought it would be fun. I followed their instructions and used the promotional code "BONUS" when I registered, which was supposed to get me the 300 free bids. (Now I can't even find this offer or the news video that was on their website – it's gone). THE BIG SCAM IS THAT 2 DAYS AFTER I REGISTERED FOR WHAT THEY CLEARLY ADVERTISED AS 300 FREE BIDS, I DISCOVERED THAT THEY HAD DEBITED MY ACCOUNT $150. I reported it to my bank's fraud department, and the bank generated a 3-way conversation by calling the number for jumbocloseouts.com that was listed on the debit card statement. The person identified himself as Tony and he said he did not work specifically for jumbocloseouts.com but was merely "a call center for internet based companies" and he worked for numerous internet companies. However, he had us go to the jumbocloseouts.com website and proceeded to point out the "Terms and Conditions" of the company (accessed by clicking on a little logo on the bottom left of the page). He said this should have been done prior to registering (but no layperson would have known to do it). Somewhere in the fine print of their multiple pages of "terms and conditions" it said that there is a $150 registration fee which gets you the first 300 bids for the auction. However, Tony didn't seem to have any knowledge whatsoever of the enticement that I was given in big bold letters on the homepage offering 300 free bids if you joined by a certain date by writing the word BONUS on a line labeled "promotions". That was the way that I was pulled into the registration process – and in the process I gave my debit card information and my address (so they could "send you the merchandise when you win!"), and just like that I was scammed! There was never any mention of a $150 registration fee throughout the entire registration process. There was no checkout or confirmation of charges - I had no reason to think that any money was being debited (stolen) from my account. I used up what I thought were the 300 free bids trying to win the big ticket items and I bought a couple of pieces of junk in the process - a necklace and a men's bracelet for under $4 each just to get started (and paid the shipping costs of $9.99 each which I'm sure is more than the product is worth). It remains to be seen if I'll ever get the products. I'm also embarrassed to report that after my 300 "free" bids were used up I auctioned for a 250 bidpack and "won" it at the bargain price of $48. To date my account does not reflect the bidpack I paid for, which I now know to be worthless anyway. Since I used a debit card there was no way for me to put a stop on any of these charges which total about $225.00 for the "registration fee", the junk I "won" in the auction, the shipping costs, and the bidpack. My bank tried to help but it seems to be futile because I can't reproduce the phony promotional offering, and there is mention of a registration fee in the "terms and conditions". They told my bank rep that I just didn't understand the terms!!! Then they said I used the 300 bids so obviously I got what I paid for! What a hateful company. He then told me that any disputes have to be put in writing and sent to support@***.com. So I will take that next step, which my bank rep also advised me to do before they can proceed further. I was one of many who was robbed, which is evident when you do a search of jumbocloseouts.com on the internet and find so many other people in the same distress as me. If there is anything I can do, I will do it. I'm willing to work to get some kind of justice. Keep the communication going here.

Re: Jumbocloseouts.com; incorrect information
After FINALLY getting through to the customer service number at Jumbocloseouts.com, I was told that CPA Fuel, and Arin Aghajani, do not own Jumbocloseouts.com; rather, they did the internet marketing for them, and have since disassociated themselves from Jumbocloseouts.com. They have had to take legal measures to protect themselves and their reputation from being incorrectly associated with Jumbocloseouts.com. I apologize for the incorrect information. But I strongly advise everybody to use due diligence before joining any internet bidding site. The correct address for Jumbocloseouts.com is: 2658 Griffith Park Blvd., Los Angeles, Ca. 90039. I have been told that their billing manager is S.J. Williams., and complaints should be addressed to him. I hope this information is helpful.

Verified Reviewer |Jumbocloseouts.com is totally dishonest and fraudulant
Mr. William S.J., Jumbocloseouts.com, Billing Department Chair, I have 4 additional questions in response to your email ".If you have any further questions please let me know." as follows: I gather from your email, you have no intention of refunding my $150.00. (1) Am I correct? (2) How does that make you a reputable company when I received nothing for my purchase? I have again notified my Credit Card Company and they will and have processed a dispute refund. Your statement that, ".The $150 charge is clearly stated on the shipping info and payment page." is a false statement. I never received a "shipping info and payment page". Under no circumstances was I ever "provided" information that a $150.00 charge was/would be made to my credit card. Please provide this apparent "proof of purchase"! (3) Can you provide this page with proof I signed and authorized a $150.00 purchase? You have a choice - (A) you can refund my $150.00 amicably since I made no purchase or was provided anything you claim you provided me or (B) my Credit Card company will dispute and back up my claim and you can fight this for as long as you would like. I certainly will. (3) What choice do you plan to make, (A) or (B)? Last of all, if you elect to not refund my money, you can be sure I will inform anyone and everyone I know that your "penny auction", as I have since learned your industry is called, is bogus and totally a rip off to anyone who unwittingly goes to your site. I will make a point to email, twitter, facebook and notify everyone in my network of what a disreputable company/organization you are!

Jumbocloseouts.com; fraud, deception; here is their business information
Re: Jumbocloseouts.com; they stole from me just like many others. I wish I was closer to where they are. They are owned by CPA Fuel Marketing, who also owns other questionable (fraudulent) concerns, and is or has been the subject of several legal actions. Their address is 801 North Brand Blvd., ste. 620, Glendale, Ca. 91203 (8**-**4-2195), and/or 2125 Maginn Dr., Glendale, Ca. 91202 (8**-**6-4214). Their CEO is Arin Aghajani. He has a very competent legal network sheltering him. Their website has been changed, and now offers only a few junk items. Like many others, my credit card dispute was unsuccessful. Contacting them is next to impossible, and they are uncooperative if you do manage to get a response. I am ready to cooperate in ANY type of action to shut these people down, and return money to the victims like myself.

Jumbocloseouts.com is a Jumbo Fraud
Jumbocloseout.com (AKA, wetrickyouforyourmoney.com) After this phantom registration that robs your account of $150, you're sent on this angry but embolden campaign of recovery. The encouragement to try for free is the beginning of their scam. I don't care how long it takes, I will get my $150 back. Jumbocloseouts.com is a misleading and fraudulent company. We should all come together on a class action law suit against them. This type of thievery has to stop in our great country. Lets put them out of business. That is, if they are not out of business yet.

Jumbocloseouts did not send merchandise won& paid for on their website
After learning that jumbocloseouts got over on me for $150.00,I proceeded to play their game and try to reduce my losses by bidding on gift cards.I won an auction for a $50.00 visa on 9/11/2010 and won another auction for a $50.00 Walmart gift card on 9/13/2010.Thereafter, on or about 9/29/2010 I inquired with jumbocloseouts as to the status of my gift cards and was told they were on backorder. hat a runaround...... I waited a couple days and inquired again and was told to send an e-mail to their support dept. I did and have not received a reply. So I called again and was given 500 free bids as a courtesy and told that the support dept would be notified w/urgency.till no reply to my e-mail and I havnt used one single bid of the 500. I guess they figured I would win and pay for more auctions. Not hardly when I cant even get the merchandise I won and paid for. The people out there seem to be complaining about the initial$150.00 they spent.I got ripped off for $150.00 plus (3) three auctions I won and paid for totalling approximately $250.00.

Jumbocloseout.com tricked me into giving cc number then took $150 from me
I came accross a promotion on Fox News website about a new auction site called Jumbocloseout.com. I thought I would check it out. In order to go to the auctions, I had to register and was promised 300 free bids. When I registered, they immediately charged $150 to my cc which I did not knowingly authorize. I called and e-mailed them to cancel my registration but they refused to refund my $150. The site is worthless to me and I was tricked into supplying my cc number and was not told that they were going to charge me just for registering. Had I known, I would never have registered. I am truly embarrassed that I fell for this scam but have learned my lesson. I want to warn anyone else to stay away from this dangerous and deceitful website.
